The UM Sloan Indigenous Graduate Partnership (UM SIGP) is a scholarship program established by the A.P. Sloan Foundation to increase the number of Indigenous Americans earning master’s and doctoral degrees in STEM disciplines. The program is specifically designed to support Indigenous graduate students pursuing degrees in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics at The University of Montana.

Selected students who participate in the UM SIGP receive financial support to pursue their educational goals. Funding is available for both master’s and doctoral degrees, with amounts of up to $20,000 for master’s degrees and up to $40,000 for doctoral degrees.
